One buttery-sweet and gloriously rich Brioche Cinnamon/Sour Cream Coffeecake paired with two of my Citron Brioche.
The coffeecake dough is extra rich with egg yolks, sour cream, and butter. It's filled with a mix of brown sugar, sour cream and spices mixed with chopped toasted, locally sourced pecans, rolled up, sliced, and turned into a ten inch round. 12 generous servings.
The brioche loaves are studded with jumbo and golden raisins, tart cherries and currants plumped in Citron aperitif from our local Somerset Ridge Vinyard & Winery. The dough gets extra egg yolks, lemon oil and spices. One full pound. It's lightly sweet. Keeps for weeks in the fridge, months in the freezer.
